Loving Home Needed for Wonderful Dog

 

Meet Ouzo—a loyal, affectionate dog who has been a beloved part of our family since our daughter was a toddler. He’s smart, playful, and deeply loving with those he trusts. Ouzo thrives in a calm, consistent environment and is happiest when he’s with people he knows well. Ouzo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and healthy. 

 

Ouzo has shown signs of fear-based reactivity around unfamiliar adult men and has bitten two strangers that surprised him while he was sleeping. For his safety and others’, we feel it’s best to find a home better suited to his needs.

 

Ouzo’s Ideal Home:

    •    No frequent visitors or unfamiliar men entering the space unannounced or without a trusted person present

    •    Experienced dog owner familiar with large dogs

    •    A quiet home with adults or older children

    •    A fenced yard or safe outdoor area to enjoy

    •    Other pets should be ok but would need to be carefully introduced

 

 

This is a very difficult decision for us, and we’re committed to finding the right person or family who will love and care for him the way we have for the past 4 years.
